Gem & Mineral Society
Welcome to Southern Nevada Gem & Mineral Society.
We are a nonprofit, educational community service organization, sharing our love of the lapidary arts, rocks, and minerals.
Based in Las Vegas Nevada, serving the Southern Nevada area, and governed by a Board of Directors, our club started in 1930 as the Prospector's Club and is one of the oldest recorded clubs of its kind in the United States.

The purpose of the club: Promote interest and education in the various earth sciences, mineralogy, gemology, and foster the exchange of knowledge in the lapidary arts.
Come join us at our next meeting
February 6th, 2023 at the Eagle's Lodge, 1601 E. Washington, Las Vegas, NV 89101. Our meetings start at 6 PM and visitors are always welcome. We have a designated table for you where you can sit and get to know some of our members. They'll be happy to tell you about the club and answer any questions you may have.
